There was a beautiful Solemn High Mass of Requiem with Absolution at the Catafalque for the Month’s Mind of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday, February 1st, 6:00 PM at the Georgetown Oratory. Refreshments and Remarks in the Pryor-Hubbard Hall followed. Traditional German favorites were served to honor the late Pope including sausage, saurkraut, pretzels, fanta and authentic Bavarian Pilsner, a favorite of the late Pope.
